Top five tea specialties of Vietnam


The Vietnam Record Organisation  heralded the list of 50 gift specialties chosen by localities, tourism agencies, domestic and foreign tourists. Top five tea specialties as part of the list.
1. Thai Nguyen tea: Thai Nguyen Province is a cradle of Vietnamese tea. Tan Cuong tea is the most famous tea in Thai Nguyen, which incredibly delicious taste can bewitch any drinkers. Bitter is the first feel when you try the first sip of a cup of hot Tan Cuong tea but then it will turns out to be a sweet until lastly
2. Cao Bang province is known by bitter tea of Thach An and Ha Lang districts. The tea gains for the treatment of cold and throat inflammations, diarrhoea, and other ailments. It also bring benefit in case cholesterol level, blood tension, stress, infections and weight troubles.

San Tuyet tea: Living at an altitude of a thousand meters, covered with clouds all year round, Suoi Giang (Van Chan District, northern mountainous Yen Bai Province) is the place where has the oldest tea in Vietnam. San Tuyet Suoi Giang tea have bigger, thicker and darker green leaves than the tea elsewhere, on the leaf surface covered with a layer of fuzz as snow. Therefore, people called Shan Tuyet tea. San Tuyet tea has a very good and cool taste.
